Messenger Chat is where you can communicate with other ExitReality users who are present in the same world.

Any comment that you make will be visible by all users in the world.

The Messenger Chat window is split into two main sections. 

On the left is a list of recent comments.  Under this is the area that you use to enter your comments.  It says, "<enter your chat text here>"

On the right is a list of users in the world that you are currently in.  If you right click on a username then you are presented with some further options.

Beam To

The Beam To feature transports your avatar viewpoint to directly in front of the user.  This can be useful when you want to find someone or let them know that you want to chat with them.

Whisper...

The Whisper function allows you to send a private comment the user.  The comments that you enter will appear in your main chat window and the window of the person that you whispered to.

Invite Chat

Invite Chat allows you to have a private conversation with a user. 

Send Chat Macro

Send Chat Macro performs a gesture (that everyone can see) but tells everyone to whom the gesture is directed.

Ignore

Ignore will block communication to and from the user.


Below these two main sections you can see your username and have a mechanism for refreshing your connection, as well as inviting your friends to join you within ExitReality.
